Does it write formulas or just numbers?

Formulas. The workbook stays live: edit an assumption and the model recalculates, because the arithmetic belongs to the sheet.

Will Excel complain when I open the file?

Charts and structures are checked against an independent reader before export, specifically so Excel does not greet you with a repair prompt.

Can it build a pivot table?

Yes — a real pivot table in the workbook, not a screenshot of one.

Does the agent need my approval for everything?

No — that would make it a form, not an agent. Work inside the workspace runs on its own; anything above the one risk threshold you set, and anything that leaves the workspace, becomes a proposal with its exact arguments and waits for you.

Where is my data kept?
